Corset of silk and cotton; blue. With whalebones. At the front hook closure and lacing. Four wide elastic garters. Lace and ribbon trim. The wearer of this corset, Mrs. Van Eeghen-du Mée, was a wealthy fashionable woman from Amsterdam, who left a very extensive wardrobe with many Parisian models upon her death.
