About this work
Children's dress of white cotton piqué. Smooth bodice. Button closure at the back. Boat-shaped neck. Wide armholes and very short smooth sleeves. The skirt is gathered in box pleats, while six round fitted flaps are sewn on at the waist. The neck, sleeves, and flaps are zigzagged and trimmed with passementerie and curly soutache, while an open hand-embroidered entre-deux is inserted along the closure and the neck.
