About this work
Tin ornamental dish. The slightly vaulted flat is surrounded from inside to outside by a double egg-and-dart border, a band with birds amidst vine motifs, and an egg-and-dart border. The rise from flat to rim is unadorned. The rim is decorated from inside to outside with an egg-and-dart border, a band with insects amidst vine motifs, and four egg-and-dart borders of varying widths.
