About this work
Small pewter drinking jug, also known as a Rembrandt jug. The foot is double-profiled, as are the transitions from foot to body and from body to neck. The jug is closed with a vaulted and profiled lid. The handle begins at the thumb rest with a double hinge, extending almost horizontally from there.
