About this work

The high back has a central panel, carved below and above, displaying hunting trophies hanging from ribbons in relief, above which are turned-away knorm motifs, bound together at the bottom. Stuck volute consoles on either side. Topped with acanthus leaves amidst two turned-away broken volutes.
