About this work
Upholstered bench of gilded beechwood. The conical legs consist of arrows bundled by rings. Decorative borders on the aprons and on three sides of the seat frame. The fluted vase-shaped armrest supports rest on houses, visible on one side. The armrests run with acanthus leaves into the back frame; at the ends, among other things, a dog's head. The fluted back posts are decorated. The top rail shows, between the upper parts of a flamboyant arch with flame, an openwork arch, wreath, and ribbon. BK-16656-a/b.
