About this work

Armchair of gilded beechwood, resting on conically shaped legs. The chair belongs to a suite of furniture. On the upholstered curved seat rail and the upholstered oval back rail, scenes within floral wreaths are applied on a pink ground (Beauvais tapestry). See also: BK-16657-a/d and f.
