About this work
Oak bench on six legs placed in splay with vase-shaped joints and houses connected by excavated foot rails. The upper houses have cannelures. The upper seat rails are excavated and under the seat decorated with ogee-profiled blocks. The mortised supports have broken S-scrolls on the front and back. The legs rest on flat balls.
