About this work

Linen damask napkin with a cross-stitch pattern. The repeating motif has a fine network with checkered squares and checkered crosses. The hem has a double row of openwork. The napkin is marked: AKD and 1618 in a shield, GMS in chain stitch, FD12 and 1836.
