Napkin with possibly English emblems

Linen damask napkin with possibly English emblems. Central field: The twice-placed symmetrical pattern, the axes of symmetry standing in the middle of a mirror symmetry, shows from bottom to top three scenes: 1 An ananas and a thistle standing on a pointed arch, which carries two facing birds on a branch and is covered by a crown. 2 A half oak leaf showing three clover leaves above a thistle leaf and covered by a crown, stands on either side of a Tudor rose. Above it a tree, on which two turned-away and two facing birds are perched. The tree splits and forms a hexagonal field, on which an oak leaf with a tree. 3 Again scene 1. Standing and lying borders: closed by a double or triple line and consist of linked lozenges of lattice work, the so-called "broken sticks" motif. Corners: Tudor rose.
