About this work
The inner frame consists of a heavy wreath in high relief containing leaves, flowers and pomegranates. Around this a flat border with symmetrical carving featuring rosettes on three sides, formed by acanthus leaves in high relief, and on the underside a cartouche with a coat of arms with horizontal bars painted alternately in gold and azure.
