About this work

Chair of walnut and beechwood (furniture) with S-shaped corner legs connected by a swagged X-shaped cross with a rosette. Rails, aprons, and legs are decorated with carved floral and foliate motifs. Back and seat of woven rush. Loose cushion of green shorn tripe (modern). See also: BK-16852-F to P.
