About this work

Folding chair made of walnut with a leather seat and back. The saddle-shaped legs are connected by a hinge to the saddle-shaped stiles. The legs stand on straight, flared at the bottom connecting blocks ending in lion's claws; on the inside they have a sawn-out knob at three-quarter height. The armrests, which merge into the back stiles, end in volutes with rosettes. At the bottom of the studded leather back covering silk fringe; leather seat with copper caps.
