Fire dog of gilded bronze with a recumbent dog

Gilded bronze fire dog. Resting on a raised rectangular plate on two rectangular supports is a dog. The entire base is slightly curved. The supports are flanked by decorated consoles and feature flat fields with guttae. A rosette motif is placed in the center. The top plate features an egg-and-dart molding at the front with a floral motif in the corners. The top plate and raised section have cut-out corners.
