About this work
Madonna and Child in polychromed stucco, in relief. Mary is depicted from just above the knees, three-quarter view to the right, holding the child she is nursing on her left hand. Her right hand is held to her breast. Her head and the child's head, turned towards her, are shown in profile. In the upper corners, a ring with a tied ribbon.
