Velvet brocade with a pomegranate pattern in blue and gold. Texture: the velvet is cut in two heights, with gold thread interwoven and partially crushed. Pattern: the asymmetrical pattern shows seven-lobed leaves in blue placed one above the other, with stems bulging alternately to the left and right in blue. The inner gold design shows a stem spirally wound, bearing a large pomegranate growing within a palmette frame. The seven-lobed leaf is encircled by flower rosettes in blue contour lines. The main stem is crossed by a wavy, richly branched thin stem in blue contour, bearing an pineapple-shaped pomegranate, surrounded by serrated blue leaves. Mounting: the piece is composed of three fabric widths.
