About this work
Vase of painted porcelain. The vase, except for the neck, is covered with a yellow ground, on which two garlands of Indian flowers are painted on the body and the lid. In the yellow ground are cut out two large almost circular fields with lobed edges, in which contour chinoiserie are painted, and six pear-shaped fields with birds and flowers. The vase is marked.
