About this work

Meissen porcelain vases were often sold in sets and displayed on chimneypieces or furniture. These three vases were originally part of a set of five or more pieces. The porcelain is painted with Chinese figures in landscapes, in the style of Johann Gregorius Höroldt, the leading painter at the Meissen porcelain factory.
