About this work
Oval underplate for a tureen, of painted porcelain. The rim is decorated with the Neuozier pattern in relief. The plate is painted with German flowers, insects, and fruits. The plate has a narrow tapered section on the short sides serving as handles, decorated with a leaf and relief with gilded edges. The plate is marked and belongs to a service (BK-17474-1 to BK-17474-253).
