About this work

A fragment of embossed gold leather in relief. On a cream ground, vines, flowers, fruits, and a putto are applied in gold and colors. The pattern is identical to BK-Br-381 and BK-18243. This is a detail from a sheet; the full pattern consists of volute-shaped vines, flowers, fruits, butterflies, two putti, and a parrot.
