About this work

Lid of soft-paste porcelain (pâte tendre) with a lobed edge, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow and purple. The lid is slightly modeled in eight compartments with a branch of flowers on each. The knob is in the form of a branch with a strawberry.
