About this work

Oak chest, painted red and gold. The hollow profiled plinth rests on four profiled ball feet. The front board shows two, the side boards one panel with profiled scalloped sides. The back board shows a rectangular profiled panel. The lid shows within a profiled frame a rectangular recess with scalloped short sides. All recesses and panels show similar flat surfaces. The cornice has an ogival profile. Internally sawn copper brackets.
