About this work
Bandelier or tassel cord (fragment) of green silk ribbed ribbon, with floral motifs embroidered in silver thread and silk floss, at the end an ornament with hanging swags, edged all around with loop fringe of metal thread. Partially lined with coarse woven cotton in plain weave. Ornament at the end worked on same coarse cotton and reinforced with cotton or parchment. Incomplete; one end cut off and sewn to a point.
