About this work

Tassel with wool embroidery. On a white wool canvas, a rising branch with flowers in nuanced purple, pink, red, and blue, and leaves in nuanced moss green and grey-green. The lining is of green pongee silk. The tassel has a handle of dark patinated punched copper, with two cornucopias from which a bunch of grapes emerges. The actual grip is missing.
