About this work
Tablecloth of linen damask with the coat of arms of Wijk bij Duurstede. Central field: placed horizontally in front of a spear with a liberty cap, the coat of arms of Wijk bij Duurstede: gold with a bar of blue, charged with three columns; surrounded by two laurel branches and resting on a trophy of bayonets, flags, cannon, and fasces. Below: 20 MAART Ao 1786 and above it DAN 36. Borders: garlanded branch with oak leaves and acorns, a plain band frame, and a block border.
