About this work

Round plate of polychrome painted faience, with a chased rim. On the flat surface, a Chinese is painted raising an axe with both hands. The Chinese stands on a ground next to a plant bent to the left. On the rim, floral and leafy vines are painted, and along the rim a brown border. The plate is marked.
