About this work

Plate decorated with leafy vines and figures in dark blue with lighter details. In the center of the field a running putto with an arrow and a shield in a landscape. The scene is enclosed by circles in blue. The rest of the field is decorated with leaf motifs, in which two female figures are incorporated on the left and right. At the bottom an anthropomorphic flower figure is visible. At the top three balls on a plank. The same motifs can be found on the rim of the plate.
