About this work
Mirror in a frame of brown painted and partially gilded wood. Through the profiled, scalloped frame runs a floral garland, which appears at the corners and in the middle of the stiles and rails. The top and bottom rails also show a rocaille motif with a carved bird (pelican?) in the center. The faceted glass has been re-foiled.
