About this work

Plate of lead-glazed earthenware. The base is recessed and decorated with three concentric circles in relief, around which two circularly arranged series of dimples. The wide rim has a series of knobs alternating with dimples. The plate is covered with red-brown, blue, green and purple and yellow-white slip layers that have been shaken. The back is covered with brown, red-brown and yellow-white shaken slip layers.
