About this work
Strip of natural-colored Venetian needle lace "gros point". Symmetrical pattern relative to the central axis with palmettes, rosettes, vines, leaves and volutes. The motifs are connected by an irregular spile ground with picots. Filled work with festoon stitch decorated with cutouts and strongly raised cords. The upper side is edged with a border of bobbin lace. The lower side is finished with a straight picot border.
