About this work
Wall hangings painted on cream-colored paper from stencils. The complete composition, spanning five bands, shows three different depictions of trees with leaves and flowers. At the foot of the central tree are ferns. On a branch next to the right tree sits a parrot; above it to the right, a flying bird.
