About this work

Oak cabinet veneered with burr walnut. The claw-shaped front legs and the shaped lower rail display a rocaille motif. The front corner posts are set diagonally. The bottom is double-curved and contains four drawers with brass fittings. The two doors of the upper cabinet feature panels with shaped frames; a floral motif in the upper corners. The shaped cornice carries a shell-shaped, spreading rocaille motif in the center. The cabinet accommodates a cabinet stand.
