Goblet with a stem featuring a profiled nodus, below which a leg with hollow facets rests on a double ring. The foot is flattened and bulbous with a flat, projecting rim. The bowl is conical, tapering toward the base with air bubbles, rounded at the bottom. Decoration: a maiden with helmet and shield beside a man in Roman dress, placing his foot on a viper and holding a laurel wreath in his left hand. Behind the maiden, a lamb; on either side of this group, putti with armor. On the other side, a crowned coat of arms with three fleurs-de-lis in a rocaille frame, from which flowers and a cornucopia full of fruit hang. Around the top edge, the inscription: DER BURG'REN LIEFDE EN TROU IS'T VEILIGST SCHILT VOOREEN/ DIE VREDE EN VRYHEIDT MINT EN BOOSHEIT DURFTVERTREEN. Signed and dated: W:O:R:1738.
