About this work
Oak two-door cabinet. The upper panels feature two bulbous ornaments with tips pointing inward, where a medallion with initials is placed. These ornaments are filled with lozenges, upon which foliage continues as a contour. Similar ornaments appear in the lower panels around a lozenge-filled medallion. The chamfered corner posts and the central stile display braided band and foliage motifs above and below on a recessed field within a molded frame. Frieze with lozenges and knobs.
