About this work

Fragment of upholstery of cream-colored taffeta with colorful embroidery of symmetrically wide and whimsically winding, scalloped ribbons of half light blue, half purple. At great distances stand alternately a palm tree and a green pergola (arbor?). Loose branches with nuanced colored flowers are tied in a loop of the ribbons, while thinner vines with fine flowers wind around the ribbons.
