About this work

Porcelain tea service, painted on the glaze in enamel colours and gold. The service consists of five parts, including a teapot, milk jug, sugar bowl and two cups with saucers. All decorated with landscapes. Marked with the monogram of Catherine II of Russia. Possibly a 19th or 20th century forgery.
