About this work
Cup of porcelain with a rocaille handle, painted on the glaze in enamel colours and gold. On the outer wall a landscape with a ruin of a temple and riders. Next to it bouquets and sprigs of flowers. Gold lines on the foot and the handle. Gold rim. Marked with the monogram of Catherine II of Russia. Possibly a 19th or 20th century forgery.
