About this work
The four spherical vessels of colorless glass, with everted rim, each rest on a round, arched, tapering foot on a square base. A ribbed band runs along the underside of the foot and a rope border along the top. The vessel is cut in a diamond pattern, the scalloped rim in facets. The foot is filled with plaster.
