About this work

Cupboard veneered with rosewood and rosewood. Above the bulged blind door is a drawer with gilded bronze fittings. The marquetry on the door is in stripes and elsewhere in herringbone pattern. The straight corner posts are set diagonally on the front and the bottom rail is shaped. The copper key plate of the door depicts a female figure holding a festoon.
