About this work

Large table of ironwood with an oval top consisting of two parts. The legs consist of four trestle-shaped supports, ending in copper claws; each support carries two fluted short columns upon which the top rests. The supports are connected in pairs by a jointed columnar crossbar, placed between houses decorated with rosettes.
