About this work
The base of the triangular salt cellars rests on three printed spherical feet. It is built up from a narrow profiled lower edge, a wide, tapering, arched rim, decorated with a repeating pattern of cabochons, and a flat top. On this stands a warrior in classical armor with a spear and shield. The cast figure is attached to the base with a bolt and nut. At the corners rest colonnettes, which have a profiled base and capital and are linked in the middle by a spherical profile. They support the upper part, which is a smaller version of the base and in which the round, recessed salt container is located.
