Cup and saucer with King William I

Cup and saucer of porcelain, painted on the glaze in enamel colours and gold. On the outer wall of the cup a crowned medallion with the portrait of King William I. On either side of the crown the coat of arms of Orange and the Dutch state coat of arms. Next to it a golden ribbon in which the inscription 'WILLEM DE EERSTE SOUVEREIN/VORST VAN NEDERLAND' is scratched. The foot, the rim and the handle are covered with gold. The saucer with the coat of arms of Orange and a golden band on the inner rim. Inscription on the underside with 'A BIK A AMSTERDAM'.
