Sun hat, Walcheren costume (?), of straw, lined with chintz, provided with six silk ribbons. The hat has an almost flat crown and a flat, broad brim. The chintz lining has a white ground with a full pattern of fine floral scrolls in red, blue, purple and sparingly yellow. Under the crown are four broad ribbons with cockcomb points, a light blue ground and a black floral pattern between transverse stripes. Halfway along the side ribbons are two long, narrow rose ribbons sewn on with a red and blue floral design.
