Tablecloth of linen damask with David and Bathsheba. Central field: the symmetrically doubled pattern shows six scenes from bottom to top: 1 Woman at fountain with lord and prince looking down from tower; inscription: DAVID BETHSABEA. 2 Soldiers carrying lances; inscription: JAOB. 3 Besieged city; inscription: RABBA. 4 Prince with field marshal at table; inscription: DAVID URIAS. 5 Woman being touched by prince; inscription: DAVID BETHSABE. 6 Prince on throne with standing man; inscription: NATHA en MEGVM 62 II CAPI. Borders: vines with birds.
