About this work

Earthenware vase, part of a set of three, polychrome painted with sunflowers, coats of arms and topographical views. On one side the alliance coat of arms of Willem Adolf Maximiliaan Carel, Prince of Wied, and his wife Princess Marie of the Netherlands is depicted, with 1871-1896 above it; on the other side the interior of the Dutch Reformed Church of Wassenaar is depicted. Sunflowers are painted between and above the views.
