About this work
Sleeveless child's dress or monkey coat of twill cotton with a bodice of stitched-down flat pleats and a back closure with three bows, scalloped hem. Model: a 40 cm high strip of twill cotton is entirely pleated with flat pleats, stitched down for the bodice and pressed open for the skirt. Wide shoulder straps. Closure at the center back by means of three bias ribbon ties. Scalloped hem, machine-finished with a decorative border of shiny white thread, after which the excess fabric was cut away.
