Letter from the back of the frame of the self-portrait by Nicolaas Seuntjes, containing the following text: 'Portrait of the Sculptor Nicolaas Seuntjes, by himself. The carved wooden frame is a work of art admired by connoisseurs. Nicolaas Seuntjes is the maker of the tomb of the Prince of Hesse-Philipsthal, erected at the request of his wife Catharina Amelia van Solms in the Great or St. Jacob's Church in The Hague'.
