About this work

Stole with gold embroidery in high relief of a cornucopia. Model: stirrup-shaped with a crossbar upon which, against a sunburst, the book of the seven seals, the cross and the lamb. Along the length a volute vine with roses emerging from a compact cornucopia, adorned with gadroons and wrapped with drapery; hanging from the edge a pomegranate and a bunch of grapes. Finished with gold braid and gold fringe and some sequins on the relief. Europe, first quarter of the 18th century.
