About this work

Doll of conifer wood with a painted head and closely spaced glass eyes with black iris. Painted arms with linen band connection at the shoulders. Legs with pen hinges in knees and hips. Flattened back. Blonde spike hair. Dress of gray cotton with work, black velvet at the wrists, and buttons of white porcelain. Undergarments: white linen shirt with long sleeves and lace, wide bodice with galloon, striped cotton trousers with legs, long white knitted stockings. Netherlands, France? 18th century.
