Children's Bench

Small bench from a children's furniture set (bk-1967-182), resting on four ball-shaped legs, decorated with turned work. Below are four swivel casters. The side rails are single curved and the front and back rails are double curved. The recessed armrest supports are decorated with volutes; the armrests are largely upholstered. The upholstered backrest consists of two higher parts placed diagonally, flanking a lower central section. The edges of all these parts are built up from S- and C-scrolls.
